Pigeon in it’s fuller expression is a great diagnostic to see where the hips and shoulders move. Can the hips stay down and forward and not turn out. Can the shoulders open to grab the foot from underneath flip the grip style for the shoulders to open for the spine to extend back for foot to head?
The towel is an awesome prop to create ‘resistance’ to fire the muscle to create the bend rather than dump the flexibility.
